Just got Mom a Gmail account! (OK she did it) And we are trying to iron out the kinks before she takes off. Hopefully she will have a blog up for you all to peruse the updates available on their trip. (OK so I may be doing a lot of helping ... still she will have a blog)
So I tried to post by email from iPhoto and it didn't work. So glad I was able to find out how to edit the page. 12 large squares without pictures isn't fun to scroll down. Thanks for the patience.
Hello everyone! (meaning probably just Sarah and Peyton - wink)
I have created a bright and somewhat burnt orange Blog for the moment to reinforce my love for the undefeated Longhorns of Austin, Texas! We are going all the way! Light up that tower!
The Blitz Blog is also done in part as a tribute to one of my best friends. Blitz the wonder dog. Blitz is a "Career Change" dog we acquired through a series of wonderful per-chance happenings with our housemate Kathy. Career Change is a nice way of saying Blitz decided he didn't want to guide the blind all-day as a job, he would prefer to come hang out with us in Arizona! (OK maybe he would have picked a better location but I am glad he is here with us). I am so glad my girlfriend Megan decided to adopt him ... he has really begun to grow on me (literally ... no not like that!). I was a complete cat person since I grew up with them most of my life. But now I have acclimated to the licking and the fur everywhere because I just can't get enough of his unconditional love for me!
So I will try to update here when I get the chance.
Oh yes! The second reason is so I can show my mother how to create a blog. They are going on a 40th wedding anniversary whirlwind tour of the globe and I thought it would be a great way to keep everyone in touch (much like my world traveling niece!). But I forget how timid she is with the computer and maybe 12 hours before she leaves wasn't the best time to learn. But I will post updates that I receive from her here for those who may not be on her mailing list and also so she can see what it would look like as a blog.
Until next time, much love to all and thanks for stopping by!
My parents peace child, a recent dog lover, technology geek, movie lover, popcorn fanatic, that thoroughly enjoys riding my motorcycle and the smell of rain in the cool breeze right before it begins!
